The AIFC Court and IAC have partnered with LK, one of the leading international law firms with branches in London, UK, and Adelaide, Australia, for this purpose. A Memorandum of Understanding between the AIFC Court and IAC and LK was signed on 6th July 2021. The MoU recognises mutual regard and cooperation to strengthen the role and importance of obtaining international legal experience and developing the necessary skills required in dispute resolution.
The IAC International Internship Programme is designed to provide interns with a comprehensive understanding of key legal topics, including the recognition, registration, and enforcement of foreign judgments, offshore litigation and jurisdictions, international arbitration, and public international framework with a focus on space law.
Upon successful completion of the Internship Programme, interns will have the opportunity to develop and enhance their analytical, networking, drafting, and advocacy skills, which are essential for any legal profession. The Internship Programme is an excellent opportunity for interns to acquire practical legal skills and knowledge that will help them to pursue a successful career in the field of law.
How can you apply for an internship?
The selection process for this highly competitive programme is rigorous and demanding.
To be considered as a potential candidate, you shall successfully complete the AIFC Court and IAC Internship Programme. Once you complete the AIFC Court and IAC Internship Programme, you will have the chance to participate in a four-week internship.
Only six interns are selected for this programme, and it is therefore imperative that candidates demonstrate their skills and abilities to the best of their capabilities during the selection process.
